Hope, Joy, & Peace

For those who are READY for the hope, joy, and peace that only Jesus Christ can bring; For those who realize that this life is like a short stay in a crumbling city on our journey home to our Father in heaven; For those that understand no one has the promise of tomorrow so a decision needs to be made today; I pray and plead for you to consider God’s message to us ALL, ”choose Jesus today”. Fall on your knees before God wherever you are, and pray:

Father God, I know I am a sinner and deserve only judgement for my sins and many short comings. But I believe You sent your own son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice on the cross whose blood has covered ALL sins of ALL people who believe and call on his name in faith, and so I repent of my sins and call on the name of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior! For You made a way for us to make ourselves right in Your sight through Jesus, so that we can spend eternity with You once this short and troublesome life is over. Guide us with the Holy Spirit in the ways we can please You and bring You glory, not because our good deeds have the ability to earn us a place in heaven in which we could boast, but instead because we truly love You. I know I will sometimes sin and fall short at bringing You the glory and honor You deserve, but have mercy and patience with me, and order my every footstep. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. AMEN!

Then go and be baptized as Jesus instructed, and find a church where you will be encouraged by other believers. Develop your relationship with God through reading His word in the bible, prayer, and serving God in the ways He calls upon you to; for you have been born again with a new life, washed clean of your many sins by the blood of Jesus, and made right in the sight of God. REJOICE!!!

(KJV), and may the Holy Spirit give everyone who finds this site the wisdom to understand salvation including guidance on how we can please God, in Jesus' name I pray. AMEN! . Jesus himself states in John 6:44, "For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up." (NLT)

New Testament scriptures concerning salvation:

Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, ‘It is through faith that a righteous person has life.’” (NLT)

Ephesians 2:8-10, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (NLT)

Acts 2:38-40, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God…..Save yourselves from this crooked generation!” (NLT)

Biblically recorded statements of Jesus Christ:

John 3:11-21, “I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony. But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” (NLT)

Matthew 28:18-20, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NLT)

Matthew 22:37-40, “You must love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” (NLT)

Matthew 5:17-19, "Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven." (NLT)
